HALF HAFREN (she/they) is a New Jersey-based illustrator and storyteller with an eye for all things that are a little dark, a bit whimsical, and everything in-between. After obtaining her BA in Illustration in the UK from Falmouth University, she has dedicated herself to bringing her daydreams to life through digital and traditional media.

Hafren has worked previously with independent picture book authors, and they particularly enjoy the medium of sequential art as well as literary prose. Their favorite stories are rooted in fantasy, with an added touch of the gothic.
